Law Enforcement Request Guidelines
Last updated: October 28, 2026These guidelines are for law enforcement, other government agencies and anyone else seeking information from Logrrr LLC ("Logrrr") about a Logrrr customer. They describe how Logrrr responds. They are not legal advice and do not create rights for anyone. Logrrr may object to any request.
1. What Logrrr is, and who owns the data
Logrrr is a service that stores and reports license plate detection events sent by its customers' own camera systems. Logrrr does not own or operate cameras. Each customer owns its data and controls who can see it. Logrrr holds the data on the customer's behalf and cannot search across customers' data.
Ask the customer first. The customer that operates the cameras can usually give you what you need directly, from its own console. Where a notice is posted at a location, it identifies the operator.
2. What Logrrr may hold
- Basic account information: the account and organization name, the email addresses of its users, the billing address and billing contacts, the dates the account was opened and closed, the plan, payment records (Logrrr never holds full card numbers), and sign-in records with IP addresses.
- Customer camera data: license plate reads, the camera, the date and time, the location, thumbnail images and short video clips, and what Logrrr derives from them for the customer (vehicle records, matches, vehicle colour and type). How long it is kept is set by the customer and by state law; much of it may no longer exist.
3. What legal process Logrrr requires
- Basic account information: a valid subpoena, court order or search warrant.
- Customer camera data: a search warrant issued by a court with jurisdiction over Logrrr, or the written consent of the customer that owns the data. Logrrr does not disclose camera data in response to a subpoena alone.
- Private parties (civil cases): seek the data from the customer. Logrrr responds to a valid subpoena for basic account information only, and does not produce customer camera data to private parties without the customer's consent or a court order directed at Logrrr.
- Requests from outside the United States: Logrrr operates only in the United States and responds only to process issued by a US court, including process obtained through a mutual legal assistance treaty.
4. How to send a request
- Service: by mail or hand delivery to Logrrr LLC, Attention: Legal, 55 SE 2nd Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444, with a copy by email to legal@logrrr.com. Logrrr accepts an emailed copy as a courtesy; doing so does not waive any objection or any requirement of proper service.
- Include: the issuing agency and court; the requesting officer's name, badge or ID number, official email and phone; the customer account (account email or name) and, if known, the location; the specific information sought; the date range; and the legal authority.
- Requests must come from an official government email address or be delivered as above. Logrrr verifies requests before responding.
- Logrrr does not accept requests by phone, text or social media.
5. How Logrrr reviews a request
- The Managing Member of Logrrr LLC reviews every request, with outside counsel when needed.
- Logrrr checks that the request is valid and properly served, and asks the requester to narrow a request that is overbroad or unclear. Logrrr discloses only what the process requires.
- A request must name a specific customer account. Logrrr does not search all customers' data for a plate or a person, and will object to a request that asks it to.
6. Preservation requests
On an official request that names a customer account and the records, Logrrr will take reasonable steps to preserve those records, as they exist when the request is received, for 90 days while the requester obtains legal process. Logrrr will extend the preservation once for another 90 days on a renewed request. A preservation request does not by itself lead to any disclosure.
7. Emergencies
If you believe there is an emergency involving an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to any person that requires disclosure without delay, email legal@logrrr.com with "EMERGENCY" in the subject and include: who you are and your agency; the nature of the emergency and why it is imminent; the specific information needed and how it will help prevent the harm; and the customer account, if known. Logrrr decides each emergency request on its own facts, may disclose information voluntarily where the law allows, and records every emergency request and its outcome.
8. Notice to customers
Logrrr notifies the customer before disclosing its information, so the customer can seek to protect it, unless the law or a court order prohibits notice. In an emergency, Logrrr notifies the customer after the emergency has passed. If a nondisclosure order applies, Logrrr may notify the customer when it ends.
9. Costs
Logrrr may seek reimbursement of its reasonable costs of responding where the law allows. Logrrr never charges for an emergency request.
10. Government customers
A government agency that is itself a Logrrr customer can see its own data in its console. Logrrr does not give one customer access to another customer's data, including a government or law-enforcement customer's request for a private customer's data, without the owning customer's direction or legal process as described above.
11. Transparency
Logrrr publishes, once a year, the number of requests it received from government agencies, the number in which it disclosed any information, and the number of emergency requests, to the extent the law allows.
