Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Logrrr LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Logrrr", "we"). They govern your use of logrrr.com, the Logrrr console, the Logrrr API, and the Logrrr on-premises software (together, the "Service").
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (/privacy). If you are using the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means the organization. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. The Service
Logrrr receives license plate detection events sent from your own camera system, stores them, and provides search, dashboards, reports, webhooks and related features. Logrrr does not provide cameras or camera software, and does not control what your cameras capture.
3. Your account and API keys
You are responsible for your account, for everyone you give access to it, and for all activity that occurs through your API keys. Keep your keys confidential; you can create, view and revoke them in the console. Tell us promptly at ahoy@logrrr.com if you believe your account or a key has been compromised. You must verify your email address within 7 days of signup; unverified accounts may be disabled.
4. Your data and your responsibilities
Ownership. You own the detection data, images and video your cameras send to Logrrr ("Customer Data"). You grant Logrrr a limited license to store, process and display Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you and as these Terms allow.
Logrrr's role. Logrrr processes Customer Data on your behalf and under your instructions, as a service provider or processor. We do not sell Customer Data, share it between customers, combine it across customers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Service, except for aggregated statistics that cannot identify any person or vehicle. Our processing commitments, including sub-processor notice and security measures, are set out in the Data Processing Addendum (to be published), which forms part of these Terms.
Your responsibilities. You are solely responsible for Customer Data and for your use of the Service. You represent and agree that:
- you have the legal right to collect license plate data at every location where you operate cameras connected to Logrrr, and you will post any notice and obtain any consent that applicable law requires;
- you will comply with all laws that apply to automated license plate reader data in the places where you operate, including limits on purpose, retention, access and sharing, and you will set your Logrrr retention and settings to comply with them;
- if you are a government agency, you remain the custodian of your records and are solely responsible for public-records, records-retention and any law-enforcement data-handling requirements that apply to you; and
- you will respond to requests from individuals about Customer Data, and we may refer such requests to you.
Logrrr may limit retention, warn you, or decline to serve a location in a state where applicable law restricts private use of license plate readers. Those limits are a convenience and not legal advice; compliance remains your responsibility.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful security, safety, access-control and operational purposes at locations you own, control, or are authorized to monitor. You may not use the Service, or any data obtained through it:
- to harass, stalk, intimidate, or unlawfully track or surveil any person;
- to discriminate against any person in violation of law;
- to build or supplement a database of vehicles or people beyond the locations you are authorized to monitor;
- for facial recognition or any biometric identification of people;
- to resell, sublicense or offer the Service to third parties, except under a written reseller agreement with Logrrr;
- to probe, overload, interfere with or circumvent the Service, its security or its usage limits; or
- in violation of any law or anyone's rights.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and may remove or disable access to data involved in a violation.
6. Plans, fees and payment
Free plan. The Free plan is limited to 1 camera, 7 days of activity retention, 100 MB of storage and 2,000 webhook transactions per day. We may change Free plan limits, suspend Free accounts for inactivity, or discontinue the Free plan on 30 days' notice.
Paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in arrears on measured usage, at the rates shown in the console and on logrrr.com/pricing at the time of use. Current rates: $10 per connected camera per month (based on the highest camera count in the month); $1 per month of activity retention; storage at $1 per GB up to 50 GB, $0.50 per GB from 50 to 500 GB and $0.25 per GB above that; $1 per 50,000 webhook transactions; with a $1 monthly minimum on any paid plan. The console shows a running estimate of your current charges.
Automatic payment. Paid plans require a valid payment card on file. By adding a card you authorize Logrrr to charge it each month for the previous month's usage and any applicable taxes. We will email you an invoice before or at the time of each charge. Your plan continues month to month until you downgrade or cancel in the console; you can do so at any time, and charges for usage already incurred remain payable.
Failed payments. If a charge fails we will notify you and retry. If a balance remains unpaid for 14 days we may suspend the account; data is retained during suspension for the period described in Section 8.
Taxes. Fees exclude taxes. Where we are required to collect sales, use or similar taxes, we will add them to your invoice based on the locations you provide.
Price changes. We may change rates on at least 30 days' email notice. The new rates apply to usage after the effective date. Special or founding-customer pricing applies as described in the written offer that granted it.
7. Beta and preview features
We may offer features identified as beta, preview or early access. They are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and are excluded from any availability commitment.
8. Retention, deletion and account closure
Customer Data is retained for the activity retention period on your plan and settings and then removed automatically; your settings control whether expired data is deleted immediately or held hidden for a grace period you choose. You can delete individual records or all data at any time in the console. When you close your account or we terminate it, your data is hidden immediately, an export is available to you for 30 days, and then your Customer Data and account are permanently deleted, except records we must keep for billing, tax or legal purposes and records of the terms you accepted. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days. If we receive a legal hold or preservation request that applies to your account, we may suspend deletion of the affected data for as long as the law requires and will tell you unless prohibited.
9. Requests from law enforcement and third parties
We disclose Customer Data to third parties only when required by valid legal process, and we will notify you before doing so unless the law prohibits it, as described in our Law Enforcement Request Guidelines (to be published). We do not voluntarily share one customer's data with another customer, including a government customer, without the owning customer's direction or legal process.
10. On-premises software
Logrrr's optional Windows software (the UniFi uploader, downloader and settings tools) is licensed, not sold, to you under the end-user license that accompanies the installer (to be published). It includes third-party components under their own licenses, listed at /legal/licenses. You may install it only on systems you control and may not reverse engineer it except as the law allows.
11. Intellectual property
Logrrr and its software, website, documentation and branding are owned by Logrrr and its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant no rights other than the right to use the Service as described. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
12. Event capture and data loss
Logrrr receives detection events only when your camera system successfully delivers them to Logrrr's ingestion service. Delivery depends on your network, your camera system, and third-party infrastructure outside Logrrr's control, and your camera system does not retry a delivery that fails. Logrrr makes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the ingestion service available and to store every event it receives, but Logrrr does not guarantee that any event will be received, stored, or retained, and events that are not received by Logrrr for any reason — including network failure, maintenance, service unavailability, third-party outages, errors or defects in the Service, or exceeding plan limits — may be unrecoverable by Logrrr. The optional on-premises software adds detail to events Logrrr has already received; it does not recover events that were not received. Logrrr keeps one copy of stored images and video; if that storage fails or is lost, those images and video cannot be recovered.
Logrrr is not a system of record. Your camera system remains the authoritative source of your recordings and detections. You are responsible for configuring your camera system's retention to meet your needs, for maintaining any copies of recordings you may need, and for monitoring that events are arriving in Logrrr; the console shows when each camera last sent an event and flags cameras that have gone quiet. You must not rely on Logrrr as your only copy of any recording or detection. Logrrr is not designed or warranted for use as evidence, for emergency response, or for any purpose where a missed, delayed, or inaccurate event could cause injury, loss, or legal consequence, and you assume all risk of such use.
If you believe events are missing, contact ahoy@logrrr.com; where we can identify a cause within the Service we will try to correct it for future events, which is your sole remedy for missed events.
13. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided on an as-available basis. Paid plans include email support at ahoy@logrrr.com. Free plans have no uptime commitment and support is provided at our discretion. We may perform maintenance and will try to give notice of planned downtime.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGRRR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LOGRRR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL RECEIVE, STORE OR RETAIN EVERY EVENT, THAT STORED DATA WILL BE FREE OF LOSS OR CORRUPTION, OR THAT PLATE READS, DETECTIONS OR REPORTS ARE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE; CAMERA READS DEPEND ON YOUR EQUIPMENT AND CONDITIONS. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR OWN JUDGMENT, AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DECISION OR ACTION YOU TAKE BASED ON IT.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGRRR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, OR FOR LOST, MISSED, CORRUPTED OR UNRECOVERABLE EVENTS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS. LOGRRR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO LOGRRR IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. Some states do not allow some of these limitations; in those states they apply to the extent permitted.
16. Indemnity
If you are using the Service for an organization, you will defend and indemnify Logrrr against third-party claims arising from your Customer Data, your cameras and locations, or your violation of Section 4 or 5, including claims that you collected or used license plate data unlawfully.
17. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time in the console. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where practicable; we will give at least 30 days' notice if we discontinue the Service. Sections 4 (ownership), 8, 11, 12 and 14 through 20 survive termination.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect and post the date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance; if you do not agree, close your account before then. The console records the version of the Terms you accepted.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court, and consumers may have the right to bring claims in their home state where the law so provides.
20. General
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Addendum and any written order or special-pricing offer are the entire agreement between you and Logrrr about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a business transfer. Notices to you go to your account email; notices to us go to ahoy@logrrr.com. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership or agency.
