logrrr

The plates your UniFi cameras read, turned into vehicles you can search.

Logrrr listens to UniFi Protect's built-in license plate events, stores what it receives, and gives you the search, vehicle history and reports your NVR was never built for. About 5 minutes to set up. Free plan: 1 camera.

Vehicles, not just plates

Cameras misread plates: an 8 for a B, an O for a 0, a dropped character. Logrrr matches those reads to the same vehicle using the camera, the time, the camera's alternative readings, and the vehicle's colour, type and an appearance signature. When it isn't sure, it suggests a match for you to review, and you can undo your review decisions. Colour and type are worked out on Logrrr's own servers, so no picture goes to a third-party AI service. Logrrr reads plates and vehicles, never faces.

Find any plate in seconds

Search any plate and see the sightings Logrrr has received, newest first, with pictures. Filter by camera, plate or date range, and download up to 100,000 rows as CSV for your own reports. An activity feed shows the day's reads with hover previews.

A live wall for the front desk

Show the newest reads on a 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 wall that refreshes itself. A viewer role lets a lobby or guard screen show it without admin access.

The right access for each person, and a record of who looked

Five roles (owner, admin, tech, viewer and billing) give each person only what they need. Searches, views and downloads are recorded in an access log you can see, including any Logrrr support access and the reason for it.

State plate-reader rules built in

Tell Logrrr where each camera is. It checks that location against the plate-reader rules it tracks for that state, applies limits such as retention caps automatically, and shows you the reason. You stay responsible for how you use the data. See the state rules page.

A read-only API on every plan, Free included

A documented read-only REST API with an interactive reference and an OpenAPI file. Feed plate reads into your own scripts, Home Assistant or reports, with cursor paging that doesn't repeat or skip records and short-lived links for pictures and clips.

Nothing to install

UniFi Protect sends each plate read to Logrrr by webhook. There is no extra hardware, no plugin and no on-site software needed. Setup is a URL and a key in Alarm Manager, and a live check shows your first event arriving.

Pay for what you use

Start free on one camera. Paid plans scale with the cameras, retention and storage you use, with a running estimate of this month's bill in the console. Upgrade there, with no sales call.

Logrrr Windows tools (Uploader and Downloader): coming soon

UniFi Protect's webhooks carry the plate read and the raw event photo, and no video. The Windows tools run on your own network, fetch sharper pictures and video clips from your UniFi Protect console, and upload them to Logrrr, so you can play video right in the Logrrr console. Logrrr works from webhooks alone; the tools add more detail for every vehicle. They talk to your own console, so there is nothing to open on your firewall. Coming soon.
